There are 22 seminarians from the
dioceses of Dindigul, Sivagangai, Madurai, Palayamkotai and Thoothukudy,
studying initiation course for the academic year 2016-17. The purpose of this
course is to initiate them in the life of a seminarian and the priesthood and
teaching them English Language. The main subjects taught here are English
Grammar, Phonetics, prose and spoken English. In addition to these the
students were given training in Yoga, sacred music and basic catechism.
